Objectives
A la fin du cours de conception assistée par ordinateur (CAO) l'étudiant-e est capable de :
- Comprendre le rôle des outils CAO dans le processus de développement de produits industriels
- Concevoir des composants mécaniques à l'aide d'un logiciel industriel de CAO utilisant des géométries volumiques, des plans techniques et des données technologiques associées
- Gérer les données techniques élaborées dans un environnement CAO (maquettes virtuelles) en vu d'un travail collaboratif

L'enseignement de la CAO est effectué à l'aide des logiciels industriels NX et TEAMCENTER de Siemens PLM Software.
- Présentation de l'outil CAO dans le processus de développement de produits
- Modélisation 3D de base de composants mécaniques
- Modélisation de systèmes mécaniques (assemblages)
- Modélisation 2D de dessins techniques
