Back Mécanique des fluides 2

  • Objectives

    A la fin de ce cours, l'étudiant-e est en mesure de:

    • Dimensionner et calculer les turbomachines hydrauliques usuelles (turbines et pompes)
    • Choisir une turbomachine adaptée à l'application souhaitée (turbine, pompe)
  • Content

    L'énergie hydroélectrique, différents types de machines et installations hydrauliques.

    Théorie de base, triangle de vitesses et équation de Bernouilli avec et sans pertes pour turbomachines.

    Similitude, coefficients de vitesse et de pression, vitesses spécifiques.

    Introduction aux outils de simulation.

The continuous assessment mark is the weighted average of the courses evaluations. If the course includes practical labs (TP), the course mark is the weighted average of the TP mark and the mark of the other evaluations. If one of these two marks (TP or other evaluations) is less than 3.0, the course counts as failed and no mark is given.
