Extention of the Agreement with the American Chemical Society (ACS)

For 2026, the Consortium of Swiss Academic Libraries has a capped Read and Publish agreement in place with ACS under which the participating Swiss institutions have access to 235 APC tokens for publishing in ACS hybrid and gold journals, as well as unlimited reading access to ACS journals.

If an author wishes to publish, there are still tokens available at this time.

When submitting the article in the ACS workflow, the author needs to indicate his or her affiliation with your institution. This is a HEIA-FR specific agreement.

Please note, however, that articles resulting from SNSF-funded projects cannot be published under this agreement. This is due to a clause introduced by ACS in 2023, which they have not agreed to remove from the contract.
