Radon in indoor environments: the influence of weather conditions

European Radon Week 2021 will be held at the blueFACTORY site in Fribourg from the 13th to the 15th of October, 2021. The event will bring together 60 leading radon experts from 22 different countries, including industry professionals, researchers and government officials in the area of radiation protection.

A study covering all of French-speaking Switzerland found that energy-efficient renovation work on residential buildings tends to overlook the question of indoor air quality. The study’s authors, mainly from EPFL and the School of Engineering and Architecture of Fribourg (HEIA-FR), have called for greater attention to this issue.
