« HEIA-FR: Engineers and architects committed to sustainable solutions »
Every person leaves a mark on their social, cultural, economic, and natural environment.
The identity of an engineer or architect is founded on the practice of efficient resource use and the quest for continuous improvement. Engineers and architects are equipped with the skills and know-how to develop comprehensive solutions and meet the challenges posed by sustainability.
Our school values and supports individual and collective initiatives that contribute to bringing about a more sustainable society.
HEIA-FR has the following institutional objectives:
- as a provider of educational and training programs, we seek to empower our students to become capable and responsible agents of change in their communities;
- as an applied research institution, we are committed to our role as a leading actor in the development of sustainable solutions;
- in the way we perform our internal operations, we aim to serve as a model of a low-environmental-impact institution;
- as a place of study and work, we strive to create an environment that fosters well-being and creativity.
HEIA-FR is part of Change HES-SO, a project for HES-SO member schools that encourages innovation and the exchange of best practices in support of institutional strategies and objectives.
